An Open Floor Movement Workshop

28 - 30 June 2024 ~ GLASGOW, Scotland

A weekend Open Floor workshop to support you Access, Embody and Express the fullness of your heart.

There are plenty of reasons to guard your heart these days. You don’t have to look far to see the inhabitants of this earth are troubled; on a screen, down the street, through the window of a train. Then again, almost every day I see or hear something that makes me smile, feel peaceful or excited about the innovative times I am living in.

Come spend the weekend on the Open Floor using movement consciously, to liberate your body and become the most tender, inspiring, engaged being you can humanly be.

This is the first time I've offered this workshop since 2019, where I will be incorporating my deeper understanding of the importance of the regulation of the nervous system and the window of presence, the work of Stephen Porges and Dan Siegal.

This Open Floor workshop is where we bring into focus our embodied emotional intelligence.

This workshop will take place at YAMA Studios in Glasgow, SCOTLAND - see below for information.

Heartfullife still remains one of my profound Open Floor experiences…...Your workshop gave me the insight and clarity to return to Melbourne after a year of being in perpetual chaos and emotional pain in Brisbane. I haven’t regretted that decision and now feel much more embodied and settled.
— Lucy F., past participant
What’s been very positive for me it is atmosphere of kindness in the group. Deborah, I particularly appreciate the clarity in your teaching, as well as the fine attention that you give to each, and to the group itself.

Your empathic look and your way, so right, to put words on what you observe, creates a safe container for the suggested explorations. All of that contributes to the atmosphere of kindness.

Having physical pain (shoulder and arm), it was important to be able to share it at the beginning of the workshop; I felt heard and this allowed me to trust. Although the pain did not allow me to move and unfold completely into movement, I slowly let go of the concern about hurting myself to be more present to my dance and that of the others.
