1 day Open Floor Movement Practice workshop

In this experiential workshop, we will explore the dynamic of polarities—the seemingly opposing forces that influence and shape our lives—and how we can integrate them through embodied movement.
This workshop offers a pathway to recognising and appreciating the impact of an either/or mindset through a combination of mindful movement and reflective practices.

Who the workshop is for
Whether you are a movement practitioner, dancer, or simply interested in mind-body practices, this workshop invites you to explore the power of moving beyond polarities to discover a deeper sense of unity within yourself.
This workshop is open to anyone aged 18+ who is familiar with and / or curious about embodied movement.
Although experience in embodied movement is not necessary, at least one embodied movement practice class is recommended in advance if possible, further info here.

Each session will include time for movement. There will be guided input and space for your own free inquiry.

Meet Deborah
Professionally, Deborah has been working in the field of movement and embodiment for 30+ years. She qualified as a Sesame Movement and Drama Therapist in her early 20s, soon broadening into the field of conscious movement and teaching 5Rhythms® for over 25 years. In 2014, she was one of a group of 15 Founding Teachers of Open Floor International (OFI) and in 2016 attended OFI’s Therapy in Motion training with Andrea Juhan and Irit Ziv-Ron. In 2023, she completed a Foundation Training with The Centre for Systemic Constellations.
She has a blended professional life, working online and in-person, with large groups, small groups, and one-to-one. Her respect for the wisdom of the creative body is incisive and contagious.
